How to replace a Shacman Delong wiper motor ?
Phase 1: Removal of the Old Motor
Locate and Remove Wiper Arms:
Find the two wiper arms on the windshield.
Pry open the small plastic cap at the base of each arm to expose the retaining nut.
Use the appropriate socket wrench (usually 13mm or 15mm) to loosen and remove the nut.
Once the nut is off, pull the wiper arm firmly off the splined shaft. If stuck, a wiper arm puller tool will make this much easier.
Access the Motor Compartment:
The wiper motor assembly is located in the cowl area (the space between the hood/bonnet and the windshield).
Remove the plastic or metal trim panels covering this area. This usually involves removing several screws or clips, which may vary slightly between M3000, X3000, or H3000 models.
Disconnect Electrical Power:
Locate the wiring harness plug connected to the wiper motor.
Press the locking tab on the plug and carefully pull it free from the motor connector.
Remove the Motor Assembly:
Identify the mounting bolts (usually 3 or 4) securing the motor to the vehicle's bracket.
Use your socket wrench to loosen and remove these bolts.
Support the motor as you remove the final bolt to prevent it from falling.
Phase 2: Installation of the New DZ15221740009 Motor
Prepare the New Motor:
Unbox the new DZ15221740009 wiper motor.
Visually confirm that the mounting holes and electrical connector match the old motor assembly.
Mount the New Motor:
Position the new motor in the chassis mount points, aligning the bolt holes.
Hand-tighten all the mounting bolts first, then use your wrench to secure them firmly.
Reconnect the Power:
Plug the electrical harness back into the new motor, ensuring the locking clip engages securely ("clicks" into place).
Functionality Test (CRITICAL STEP):

Turn off the truck's power and disconnect the battery negative terminal again.
Reinstall Wiper Arms and Trim:
Place the wiper arms back onto the splined shafts in the correct park position angle (usually parallel to the bottom edge of the windshield).
Tighten the retaining nuts and replace the protective caps.
Reinstall all removed trim and cover panels.
Phase 3: Final Verification
Reconnect the battery permanently.
Test the entire system again, ensuring smooth operation, proper water spray function, and that the wipers do not strike the edge of the windshield or the hood/bonnet.
