Heavy Truck Air Pump Repair Kit Sets

Leak Repair
To repair a leak in the unit, the operator must first unplug all adjacent tools and hoses, then start the air compressor booster to build pressure. Next, after fully pressurizing the unit, the operator can apply a soapy water solution around each fitting. Leaking fittings will form bubbles, indicating a need for maintenance.

The operator can then depressurize the compressor and secure each leaking fitting with ample Teflon tape. Furthermore, the operator must repeat the entire process to confirm if further leaks occur.

Replacing the Unloader Valve
Some faults require part replacement to repair. For example, a faulty unloader valve can cause air to accumulate above the piston, causing the circuit breaker to trip during startup. The operator can resolve this issue by inspecting, cleaning, and eventually replacing the unloader valve, especially if the fault persists.

Adjusting Airflow
Repairing this air compressor largely depends on adjusting the screws below the pressure-maintaining valve. The top and bottom screws are used to turn the compressor off and on, respectively. Adjusting airflow involves turning the compressor on and off, and using the additional upper screw for pressure control. The operator can adjust the compressor pressure by tightening or loosening the upper screw, thereby adjusting the airflow accordingly to obtain the ideal pressure.
