Product Introduction
LF14000NN was introduced by Cummins Filtration in 2015 as the first Fleetguard lube filter to combine NanoNet nanofiber media with the established StrataPore synthetic media in one spin-on housing.
The two media types split the work: StrataPore handles the larger share of oil flow with low restriction, giving fast lubrication at cold start, while the NanoNet layer catches the finer particles that a conventional filter would let pass. Cummins rates the combined media at 98.7% retention of particles as small as 4 microns - a figure the company published when the filter launched and has repeated consistently in its own literature since.
It was developed specifically for the ISX15 engine platform (later renamed X15) and is the filter Cummins recommends in place of the older LF9080 on these engines, sharing the same M95x2.5 spin-on thread.

Installation Guide
■Drain and remove the old filter, and wipe the mounting base clean before fitting the new one
■Lubricate the new gasket lightly with clean engine oil before installation - do not fit dry
■Hand-tighten until the gasket contacts the mounting base, then turn a further partial turn as specified by your engine's service manual rather than a generic torque figure
■Do not reuse an old gasket; always fit a new filter with its own gasket
■Run the engine briefly after installation and check for leaks at the base before returning it to service
